Born with retinitis pigmentosa, Nonato lost his sight completely by the age of 12, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing his love for football. He began his journey with an invitation from a friend and quickly rose to prominence, making his way to national competitions and eventually earning a spot on the Brazil national team.
